A 12km de Saint-Emilion par des petites routes, on y trouve le calme absolu dans une nature préservée et un parcours interessant à jouer. Matériaux de chantier bien visibles sur le parking en contradiction avec le tarif de 105€ le greenfee demandé. Déjeuner correct ( rapport qualité prix). Practice un peu loin. Ca vaut les 3 étoiles que vous indiquez.
Certes le parcours est exigeant et réclame un bon niveau de golf Et le potentiel est bien là mais le prix est excessif pour une infrastructure qui dénote le restaurant est trop petit et un peu bruyant et la nourriture sans plus Il y’a un potentiel énorme une fois exploité il deviendra un bijou et justifiera son prix
150€ le green fee en juillet (85 si Aquitaine), ça ne me choque pas, je l’ai déjà fait et on s’attend à la merveille des merveilles. Certes, le tracé est visuellement somptueux, les trous se dessinent harmonieusement dans la forêt, les piquets en pied de vigne et les poubelles souterraines s’intègrent dans le décor, chaque trou est intéressant mais peu abordable pour les index élevés, les greens sont ludiques et torturés,,… Mais, il y a un mais: pas un massif de fleurs, ornières boueuses sur les chemins entre certains trous, fairways parfois clairsemés, quelques pré-greens bien abîmés par une tondeuse nerveuse, green non tondus le matin de la compétition ( prétendus à 3m… joke ! ) , pas une fontaine et à 37° la clim du club house est bienvenue. D’ailleurs, tout s’y mélange : accueil, pro-shop, bar, resto, simple et bon mais forcément trop bruyant. Les locaux sont étriqués, vestiaire microscopique mais propre, une seule toilette. La cible est évidente, Anglais, Américains, Parisiens (qui vous frôlent avec leur gros SUV et se garent n’importe où) prêts à payer pour l’obséquiosité parfois méprisante mais bilingue. Le golf est jeune, sûrement promis à une belle évolution. J’aurai beaucoup de plaisir à le rejouer, mais pas à ce prix dans cet état. Les golfeurs français resterons toujours la majorité de votre clientèle et là , ils vont s’éloigner.
