Created in 1984, the Volcans Golf Course, initially 9 holes, has gradually expanded and currently offers three courses representing 33 holes, allowing everyone, beginner or experienced, to play in a calm and natural environment. Located in Orcines in the beautiful Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, it is 5 miles from Clermont-Ferrand and 7 kilometres from the famous Vulcania Leisure Park.

The main course les Bruyères 18 holes par 72 which is played over 6611 yards, Le Pariou 9 holes compact by 28 over 1470 yards and the Ferns 6 holes by 22 over 1742 yards.

The golf course is open all year round and offers the rental of electric carts and carts. The superb 18-hole course, rated 4th Golfstars, consists of wide fairways bordered by numerous pines, birch and heather and enjoys direct views of the Puy de Dome.

On the catering side, a golfers' menu is offered at lunchtime, also in continuous service a snack and vending machine.

After the pleasure of golf, do not hesitate to make a detour of 5 miles to reach the Puy de Dome, glimpsed throughout the course. With its summit at 1465 meters it is the highest volcano in the Puys Mountains listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site.
