The Golf Bluegreen Bordeaux Pessac, in Gironde (33), is a 27-hole, welcoming on 120 hectares of pine forests and bodies of water an 18 holes, a 9 holes and a compact course. The golf course is close to Bordeaux Mérignac airport and is 30 minutes from bordeaux city center and Arcachon.
Designed by architect Olivier Brizon in 1989, this golf course has raised and technical greens, renowned in the Bordeaux region for their quality.
The Blanc-Bleu course is an 18-hole Par 72 of 6056 meters. Easy in appearance, with flat relief, it offers wide fairways that must be crossed with concentration and water obstacles, lined with rushes and groves. The Red course is a 9-hole Par 36 of 2886 meters. From hole 1 to hole 5, the course runs along a stream, offering varying difficulties up to hole 9, with the fairway lined up in front of the clubhouse. The compact 9-hole course is a Par 27 of 937 meters. It is suitable for beginners. Be careful all the same to hole 4 where you have to bypass a piece of water, as well as hole 8 where the frontal water can impress the youngest players with a small 64 meters.
The water driving range includes 90 stations, 26 of which are covered. There is a synthetic training area with different scenarios: 4 pitching-greens, 2 putting-greens and 2 training bunkers.
The clubhouse includes an important and bright pro-shop, as well as a restaurant le Master which offers local products in a refined decoration. The terrace will be conducive to the tasting of local grands crus such as Pessac Léognan.
